Haven Christian Centre
About Us
Haven Christian Centre is a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) Church in Littleover, Derby. We are one congregation formed jointly between Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Churches. We work to a constitution that was developed by these churches together.

We are also a proud member of Littleover and Blagreaves Churches Together. We work together to live out our love for Jesus and serve our local community.

Our church is led by our Enabling Minister and Elders. Our Elders act as Trustees for the church and the Leadership Team provide oversight and governance. The leadership team seeks to understand what God is saying to the church and help us to follow God's plans. But at the end of the day, the Haven works as a team and everyone is invited to play their part in living out the love and grace of God and expressing that to one another and to our community.

Meet our Team
The Enabling Minister leads the church and is responsible, together with the Leadership Team and through the Membership, for helping the church discover and follow God’s vision and direction for the church.
Rev Jason Kennedy
Enabling Minister
Our enabling minister is: Jason Kennedy
Jason is a Church of England minister and works half-time at The Haven and half-time in other churches. ‘Enabling’ simply means that rather than doing everything himself, his job is to help the whole Christian church love and serve God and our community. He’s married to Lesley, who leads our worship and works for the RSPCA, and they have two grown-up and married children with three grandchildren. He loves playing board games and video games (but isn’t very good at either of them) and enjoys a good murder mystery on the TV.
Our Elders
The elders are the trustees for the church. They are responsible for making sure that the church runs smoothly and that we’re following all the correct processes and procedures as a charity.
